Dr. Soohyun Cho
Soohyun Cho is an Assistant Professor of Integrative Studies in the Arts and Humanities (IAH) at Michigan State University. As an affiliate faculty for the Digital Humanities and Literary Cognition (DHLC) Lab, Cho integrates her expertise in health/medical humanities to explore the impact of art and cultural engagement on health. Her current comparative study investigates neurodivergent detective figures in Anglophone and East Asian popular culture, bridging digital humanities, media studies, disability studies, and literary cognition. As an interdisciplinary scholar, she has designed accessible art events and created community-engaged pedagogy.
